Waltograph is the name of a freeware typeface based on the lettering of the The Walt Disney Company logotype.

Description
Several versions exist, some under its original title of "Walt Disney Script". The typeface is not, as many assume, based on the actual handwriting of Walt Disney; rather, it is an extrapolation of the Walt Disney Company's corporate logotype, which was based on a stylized version of Walt Disney's autograph. Even though this character was first used for The Walt Disney Company logo in 1985, it was publicly released in 2000 and then it was continuously updated and eventually renamed Waltograph in 2004. The typeface based on the 2006-present Walt Disney Pictures logo is New Waltograph, which is designed by Dan P. Lyons. The redesigned typeface is released in 2015. The variant of the typeface is (New) Waltograph UI.
Waltograph is the name of a freeware typeface based on the lettering of the Walt Disney logotype.

The font based on the Walt Disney Pictures logo is New Waltograph, which is designed by Dan P. Lyons. The unused font of the logo is (New) Waltograph UI.

Reception
Although the project is unofficial and not affiliated with nor endorsed by the Walt Disney Company, it has been used by the company on occasions.
