New page

In theory, it seems that '''batch fabbing''' is when one might program a fabber to print multiples of a certain production piece.

It seems the key to this would be to have some way of removing a finished item from the fabber and being able to organize it sort of package it somehow (for lack of a better word).

Perhaps when an item is finished the fabber would go back to the neutral/ready position and then some device could remove the finished item from the platform. Perhaps the combination of software modifications and an actual separate quasi-robotic device could be used to remove the items from the platform.

Or... Perhaps a conveyor belt could be built onto the platform so that items could be sort of made to fall off into a storage container, presuming the item is sturdy enough not to break.

In a factory setting, perhaps a conveyor belt might just place the finished item onto another conveyor belt to be sent off somewhere else...
