			Often, partly by definition, to be diagnosed with a mental disorder, someone must be experiencing personal distress to whatever the "symptoms" are. One could be claiming to talk to space aliens every night but if there is no social, occupational dysfunction or personal distress, then they could not be diagnosed with schizophrenia, if my memory serves me.
