| The selections that you have read demonstrate multiple things. The blog post on printable solar cells demonstrates a couple things in itself. First, it demonstrates that groups of people think that it may be economically possible to create solar cells so cheaply they could be given away for free. It also shows that people think of this as an ideal or at least positive situation. This begs the question of how such a system could be implemented.
