Wikademia is a place for learning, and original research so as to better the lives of people here and everywhere.

With respect to goals and objectives, Wikademia is a place for learning and original research. The goal is to have Wikademia be a place for learning and original research. Wider goals, or visions that could be outcomes of this might be to better society, the lives of people who use and do not utilize wiki technology.

Motivation to edit

Reasons people may edit here are multiple. Most people have a desire to learn. Knowledge is power. Wikademia can be used to learn and teach. For those who have knowledge, they can have genuine enjoyment in teaching others and sharing their knowledge. Editing is in many respect not too difficult; there is no complicated signup; you don't even have to be logged in. Just about anyone can edit, and anyone can post information as long as it is not vandalism or outside Wikademia's policies (see Meta:Policies) or scope.

Promotion

How will people learn of this wiki's existence? Through word of mouth and organic search engine traffic.
