Danzan Ryu's Seoinage (背負投/背負い投げ, Seoinage^?), known as Ippon Seoinage (一本背負投, Ippon Seoinage^?) in Judo, is one of the twenty throwing techniques in the Nagete list. It is also one of the nineteen newly accepted techniques, Shinmeisho No Waza, of Kodokan Judo. It is classified as a hand throwing technique, Te-waza. ?

In the video, The Essence of Judo, Ippon Seoinage is demonstrated as a second variation of Seoi Nage. A third variation is also demonstrated which can be thought of as a left sided Ippon Seoinage.
