Open learning and research are important tools for society. Currently, there are factors which hinder the development of open learning and research. These problems appear to be mostly political, social, technical, and economic. Someone should describe accurately these barriers, and describe ways that they can be feasibly overcome so that all humans can benefit from a truly open and free environment for ethical, functional, useful, and enjoyable ways in which humans can collaboratively learn and mutually benefit from discovered, shared, and created knowledge. | |||
