Flywhoosh was the second scheduled airline to offer flights from Dundee and if customer demand is strong it will consider adding a second ATR 42 to expand links from the city. Due to economic reasons WEA has decided to suspend until further notice flights to Birmingham and Belfast as of 6.12.2007. All passegners with tickets purchased should contact Flywhoosh representatives for refund. WEA advises strongly not to purchase any tickets directly from Flywhoosh.COM under WEA call sign.'' Flywhoosh is a trading name of [[Go Visit]], Virginia House, 56 Warwick Road, Solihull B92 7HX. Go Visit (telephone 0870 421 4615) are refusing to offer refunds. An investigation into trading standards violations has been launched through Solihull Trading Standards Officers. All passengers who are owed money should notify Consumer Direct (an agency of the Office of Fair Trading) on 0845 40 40 506.  Go Visit is ATOL registered (ATOL 6962).
 
Passengers may also be entitled to compensation under the EU's Denied Boarding Compensation directive 261/2004.

FlyWhoosh was a company that operated scheduled services to Dundee, Birmingham and Belfast before ceasing operations. Flywhoosh was the trading name of BluArrow Aviation Ltd.

History

The company was established by Birmingham-based businessman, Aden Murcutt, representing the travel company Bluearrow/Govisit who sold the tickets. Murcutt had previously tried to set up Flywho as a transatlantic charter airline.[1][2] FlyWhoosh used the expertise and licences of the Polish charter airline White Eagle Aviation which supplied an ATR 42 aircraft and crews. Scheduled services commenced on 29 May 2007 but were suspended only six months later, on 7 December.
