Description
This template should only be used directly if it is contextually clear that it provides a link to an ISSN search. Its main function is to provide a level of indirection for implementation of other templates, such as Template:ISSN and Template:Infobox Journal. Its only aim is to generate a link for searching a publication by its ISSN.
