ECAROcon is a conference, modeled loosely after Siggraph and GDC. This conference will be held annually and focus on the issues pertaining to computer art, technology, digital audio, software development, game design and similar topics. [1]
ECAROcon Symposium 2008
For 2008, the first year of ECAROcon, it has been scaled back into a free speaker symposium entitled ECAROcon Symposium 2008. It will be held on April 19th, 2008 in Syracuse,NY. The keynote speaker is Cory Barlog, announced on December 11, 2007. [2]
Other speakers include Alyson Markell, Andrew Lewitin and Mike Carriere. Syracuse University's School of Visual and Performing Arts is the initial sponsor of ECAROcon 2008. [3]
