-Jane studied Art in Bristol in the 60s, furthering her studies in Nijmegen in the Netherlands, she finally gave up a career in education 7 years ago to devote herself to fulltime painting. She is one of a small group of Exeter based artists who are interested in pushing the boundaries of painting the human form; line, colour and the reflection of light on skin being critical to the way they record the world they see.
