Aventis School of Management is an international graduate business school. Aventis School of Management (Asia) campus is based in Singapore offers a strong focus on leadership and general management skills. Aventis School of Management is one of the 5 business schools in Singapore that is registered with European Foundation for Management Development. EFMD is recognized globally as an accreditation body of quality in management education and has established accreditation services for business schools and business school programmes, corporate universities and technology-enhanced learning programmes.[1]

Aventis School of Management is also an institutional member of The European Council for Business Education. ECBE’s accreditation is an independent, voluntary self-regulatory system for business programmes. The objective of ECBE is to assure the continual improvement of educational quality and the effectiveness of public and private business schools, their programmes and that of training organisations. Executive Masters Programs

Aventis collaborates with Zicklin School of Business and Baruch College, New York, to bring the Zicklin Executive Masters programs to Singapore for all senior executives across ASEAN. The programs includes Executive Master of Science in Marketing & International Business, Finance, HR & Global leadership, Information Systems and Business Computing Information Systems and Psychology (Industrial and Organizational).

Graduate Diploma Programs

Aventis also offers an extensive suite of Graduate Diploma programs in Marketing, finance & investment, risk management, service leadership, Human Capital Development, Training & Development, organizational Psychology, social psychology & Counselling, and Financial engineering.

Aventis also collaborates with Professional bodies such as the Chartered Chartered institute of Marketing (UK)Template:Country data UK and the Centre for Behavorial Science (CBS)[3] to offer professional certifications

Executive Education

Aventis conducts leadership and professional development programs through collaboration with partners such as Baruch College, The City University of New York, the largest AACSB Accredited Business School in US and The School of Management, University of St Andrews, oldest university in Scotland and third oldest in the English-speaking world.

Aventis also conducts senior management training including Advanced Management Program (AMP); Global CEO Program [4]and Advanced CFO Program[5]. Participants usually are senior or top management, with many years of professional experience or younger high potential executives.

Public Lectures

Aventis also regularly organises public lectures, featuring thought leaders from various disciplines to educate the public of the changing global environment. In April 09, Aventis in collaboration with Zicklin School of Business hosted the Annual Public Lecture Series-Beyond The Financial Crisis: Ethics & Professional Responsibilities by Professor Larry Zicklin who endowed the Wharton’s Carol and Lawrence Zicklin Center for Business Ethics Research and the Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity (CCI) at Baruch College [6]

Seminars & Workshops

Aventis organises Executive Workshops & Seminars in the following areas: finance and investment, accounting, general management, leadership, strategy, presentation skills, soft skills, decision making, people and performance management, marketing, innovations and entrepreneurship. Aventis School of Management also host annual leadership and ceo summit.[8] Aventis Leadership summit 2009 will present 2 key note speakers, Professor Peter McKiernan, Dean, School of Management, University of St Andrews and Professor Foo Check Teck, Professor & Honorary Chair of Competitive Strategy, School of Management, University of St Andrews. University of St Andrews is the oldest university in Scotland and third oldest in the English-speaking world, having been founded between 1410 and 1413.

Aventis School of Management also invited internationally renowned speakersincluding Professor Victoria Dalko from Harvard University to conduct Masterclass courses in Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Valutions.

Other events include joint collaboration with KhattarWong, a regional law firm to co-sponsor a business conference in "Doing Business in ASEAN: Managing Your Risks in Today’s Business World" Conference. This regional conference is supported by The Singapore Business Federation(SBF) and The Singapore institute of Directors (SID).

Customized In-house Training

Aventis works closely with corporate clients from both public and private sectors to design and deliver tailor made in house training. Programmes include mentoring and coaching, financial statement analysis, leadership development and market innovations. Post event evaluation will allow corporate clients to assess the effectiveness of the training.

Centres of Excellence

Aventis is noted for its openness to multidisciplinary research, not only within its schools and departments, but also in its think thank institutes, libraries and research centers. These Centers of Excellence whilst funded by Aventis, enjoy significant autonomy both in pursuing their research goals and strategic directions. Each Centre of Excellence has its own Governing Board and research funding. These Centres of excellence serve as a meeting of the minds for the faculty, students, and members of the business community, who come together to share and debate key business challenges and future trends. The Sun Tzu Art of War Institute (STI) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental International Think Tank based in Singapore with the mission to promote leadership and strategic thinking using Ancient Chinese strategies.STI is a Research-driven Institute in Asia by bringing together a team of highly respected researchers and professors from across the region.

Centre for Behavioral Science (CBS)[10]

The Centre for Behavioral Science (CBS) is established to provide a platform for the transfer of leading-edge knowledge and ideas to transform the life of individuals & organizations. It conducts key research and development in specifically Psychology, Security Management, and Computer & Digital Forensic. The Center fosters close interaction between academic and industry professionals through hosting annual conferences, publishing research papers, and supporting a variety of workshops and public lectures.

Financial Training Academy (FTA)[11]

Financial Training Academy was established in 2005 to improve the financial literacy among the general public. FTA aims to raise the level of financial literacy among the investing public, and help consumers understand the various types of financial products and risk/reward each instruments offers. Through independent and practical oriented workshops and public talks delivered by world renowned academics, financial practitioners, and policy makers, FTA aims to helps the public keep pace with the changes that affect their lives and their investments.

Shaping Global Leaders

Each year, Aventis trained over 1,500 participants.
