NANNAPANENI VENKAT RAO COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING&TECHNOLOGY is a college located in Tenali, Guntur Dist, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is 26 kilometres away from guntur and 35 km from vijayawada. The college is affiliated to JNTU kakinada.

History

Nannapaneni VenkatRao college of Engineering&Technology, holds the pride as one of the best technological institutions in Andhra Pradesh, especially in Guntur district and has a glorious past. We started our journey in the field of education with the establishment of VSR&NVR college in 1950.NVR College of Engineering&Technolgy is the Brain-child of its dedicated CEO Mr.Bhaskar Nannapaneni,heir of the Nannapaneni Group, founded by Mr. Nannapaneni VenkatRao(Late).It is with this vision to provide exceptional standards of technical education that we have started NVR College of Engineering& Technology in 2009 with an emphasis on Technical education with personality development. The alumni of Nannapaneni group are settled successfully as doctors, scientists (ISRO), academicians, industrialists, and politicians.

Intake

The college takes the admissions in Undergraduate programmes(B.Tech) through the EAMCET and in postgraduate programmes(M.C.A) through the ICET examination conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh every year

Departments

The college offers courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Eletrical and Electronics engineering , Electronics and communications engineering, Civil engineering and Mechanical engineering at graduation level and Master of Computer Applications at post graduation level

Infrastructure

All the departments are equipped with lecture rooms,halls,Laboratories and Administrative rooms.The lecture halls are fully air-conditioned. A well established library is another asset to students to support their academics.The campus contains a wide play ground of 11achers and an indoor stadium(Wooden shuttle court). A well-maintained canteen within the campus provides nutritious and hygienic food for the students.

Campus Life

Since the college is located in the heart of the town TENALI, well known as Andhra Paris, the campus life of the student is very joyful and he doesn’t feel the nostalgia. The campus is well connected with both the train and the road transportation. It is just 0.5km away from bus-station and 1km away from railway station. Students are provided a high-speed WIFI connection throughout the campus. Separate hostels are there for both the boys and girls within the campus.

Academics

    The college admits undergraduate students through the state-wide EAMCET exam conducted every year. It offers engineering graduation courses in multiple disciplines courses through its department of management.

Other than Curriculum

AAVISHKAR A national level youth festival, conduct by the students, gives a best platform for the participants to exhibit their inner talents and shape out their career in this highly competitive world. As the part Aavishkaar technical, sports and cultural events are held. In the technical events paper presentation, poster presentation, model expo are held. In the sports, basket ball, football, volley ball, Kabaddi, swimming, badminton, throw ball, cricket are conducted. Under the banner of cultural Masthi, Ramp walk, singing, dancing, instrumental play, skits etc are held.
