Amal College of Advanced Studies is [[Postgraduate education|post graduate]] aided college affiliated to the [[University of Calicut]]. It is established in the year 2005 by the Nilambur Muslim Orphanage Committee. The college is recognised by [[University Grants Commission (India)|UGC]] under 12(f) & 2(b) and declared as Minority educational institution under sec 2(g) of the [[National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions|NCMEI]] Act 2004. It offers seven [[Bachelor's degree|under graduate]] and one [[Postgraduate education|post graduate]] programme in various disciplines. The college is located in Shantigramam, a picture square campus in [[Eranhimangad]] , on the banks of river [[Chaliyar]], 4 km from [[Nilambur]]. The College and its hostels are open to all students regardless of caste, creed, colour, gender and social status. It is the first college in Kerala to reserve 20% seats in all the courses for [[Orphan|orphans]] and destitutes<gallery>

About the College

Amal College of Advanced Studies is post graduate aided college affiliated to the University of Calicut. It is established in the year 2005 by the Nilambur Muslim Orphanage Committee.
