FlyWhoosh is an airline based in Dundee, Scotland. It operates scheduled services to Dundee, Birmingham, Belfast and Newquay. Its main base is Dundee Airport.[1]
History
The airline is an extension of the brand of Polish charter company White Eagle Aviation which has provided a single ATR 42 aircraft and crews. Scheduled services commenced on 29 May 2007. FlyWhoosh is only the second scheduled airline to offer flights from Dundee and if customer demand is strong it will consider adding a second ATR 42 to expand links from the city. The company has been established by Birmingham-based businessman, Aden Mercutt, who had previously tried to set up Flywho as a transatlantic charter airline.[1]
Fly Whoosh will start opperating a new service from Birmingham to Newquay on the 28th July 2007. The service will opperate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
