Second encirclement campaign against the Honghu Soviet

Template:Chinesetext The Second Encirclement Campaign against Honghu Soviet was another series of battles launched by the Chinese Guomindang (Nationalist) Government in the hope of encircling and destroying the Honghu Soviet after the previous campaign had failed. The local Red Army forces repelled the encirclement by launching their Second Counter-Encirclement Campaign at Honghu (洪湖苏区第二次反围剿, also called by the CPC the Second Counter-Encirclement Campaign at Honghu Revolutionary Base / 洪湖革命根据地第二次反围剿).

The local Red Army successfully defended the Honghu Soviet against the Nationalist campaign.
