== Safeguarding allegations ==
Bellevue owns Bruern Abbey, the school at the centre of serious safeguarding allegations against its founder and former headmaster, Sterling Stover, who has been accused of raping at least one of his pupils, as well as claims that the current headmaster John Floyd helped to cover up this abuse to protect the reputation of the school. The allegations have been detailed on a whistleblowing website. In spite of the UK's famously stringent libel laws, the website has remained online since it was first published in February 2023.<ref>{{Cite web|url=http://www.bruernabbey.com|title=Bruern Abbey Rapist|website=Bruern Abbey Rapist}}</ref>
