How to vandalize Wikipedia pages

General direction

1. Put something that looks legit for the edit summary, like

Reverted edits by 1.2.3.4 to last version by SomeUser
stub sorting using AWB
reword per WP:MOS

1. English Wikipedia is edited mostly by English speakers. 73% of the English speakers are Canadians or Americans. So pick a time when most of these people are asleep.
2. Go to a public place where you cannot be traced. Look at the talk page of your "IP user" first. It would be ideal to use an IP that has never edited before.
3. Use a browser that supports tabbed browsing such as Mozilla Firefox or Opera. Open many tabs, edit, and save them all at once (as quickly as possible using alt-s (or alt-shift-s) and the hot key for switching between tabs)
4. If you are still not blocked and have done everything you can, copy and paste this how-to to high visibility pages
5. Do not edit articles that are recently edited, as more eyes are on it

Specifics

Sneaky

1. Avoid profanity words. They will be caught by robots quickly
2. Change the dates on the biography of a not-so-known person
3. Rearrange large chunk of paragraphs, but insert a short sentence somewhere
4. Find a page where a table is written as

1. Create archive subpage of a user talk page. Use the next available number. While you're at it, you might as well do the archive for the user.
2. Pick something which is less likely to have cognates in other languages. Add interwiki link to random article of a lesser known language.
3. Replace Latin letters with Cyrillic or Greek letters that look the same. Combine this with trick with paragraph rearranging. Use external word processing software to quickly replace the letters.

Maximize damage

1. Add things like

   <div style="position:absolute;top:-50px;left:-50px;width:100%;height:100%;font-size:50000px;font-color:transparent;">[your url here]</div>

2. Make circular redirects

For example, replace University of Cambridge with

#REDIRECT Cambridge University

and replace Cambridge University with

#REDIRECT University of Cambridge

1. Redirect one thing to another that has nothing to do

For example, redirect Virginia to vagina

1. Redirect X to Y, where Y is a new page, and go back to X without redirect, edit X, add some comment like <!-- blah -->. If you do this right, it would require an admin to move Y back to X.
2. Attack highly used templates such as {{Infobox Country}}, Other infoboxes, {{disputed}}, {{move}}, other maintenance templates
3. Edit the typo list at Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/Typos. Make sure the edits are syntactically correct.
4. Vandalize edit summary (they cannot be undone).
5. Include a very large pictures on many pages to clog the bandwidth
6. Pick something from Special:Mostrevisions but don't edit the page directly. Edit a template that it transcludes.
7. Go to Wikipedia:Requests for page protection and vandalize some page that was recently unprotected just to frustrate someone.
