Overview

An academic essay on a unique, designated social psychology topic in [APA style:

1. Essays above or below the word count limit (2500 to 3000 words) will incur a penalty (5% per 100 words).
2. Late submissions will incur a penalty of 5% per day.

Format

Essays can be presented in either of the following formats:

1. .rtf or .doc or .odt emailed to the convener
2. a wikiversity page URL emailed to the convener, with your Wikiversity user name

Word count

Word count = body text (not title, abstract, tables, figures, references, or appendices).

• This essay exercise will involve a relatively small number of topics, each with a relatively large number of authors.
• Each individual also writes a summary of their contributions on their user page (or a user sub-page).
• Approximate length of essay: 2,500 - 3,000 words.
