Introductory Greek

Welcome to the course Introductory Ancient Greek Language.

This course will hopefully prepare the student to read genuine Ancient Greek texts regardless of previous experience. It will begin on a very basic level so if you have some experience you may choose to move on to a more advanced course. Or assist in lesson plans with this one.

If you're coming here with no experience of the Ancient Greek Language then congratulations on your choice to begin learning it! I think you'll find that once you master the alphabet the hardest part is over.

-If you're coming here with no experience then I hope you will find it enjoyable.  Learning any language can be a daunting task, and Greek is no different.  Especially with its alphabet which varies from the standard Latin one.  Once, you have mastered this stumbling block (and I assure you it isn't a very large one) then you can be sure the hardest part is over.
