Hymera is a Linux distribution based on en:Debian developed to be implemented both on complex management infrastructure, and in local simple environments.
Is a Linux distribution based on the en:GNOME desktop, and uses the 3D en:Compiz Manager 0.8.1.
The purpose of Hymera is to ensure ease of installation and use.
History
Hymera is a Linux distribution developed by Hymera Engineering, and is released as free software under GNU GPL license.
The first version of Hymera was issued on March 19Th 2009.[1] [2].
System requirements
The minimum requirements are:[3]:
- Minimum 700MHz for x86 processor or 64bit processors such as AMD64;
- 384 MB of RAM;
- At least 8 GB of free hard disk space;
- VGA video card with a minimum resolution at 1024x768;
- Sound card (optional).
