If police are needed within a jurisdiction that does not have a full time department, or none at all, the calls and/or information is passed along to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Pennsylvania State Police

Within this organization, police dispatchers are known as Police Communications Operators (abbreviated PCOs).[1][2] See reference for the job details.
