across the midday hours of March 1, 2007, a supercell produced a tornado that would track through Enterprise, Alabama, causing heavy damage. The tornado would be part of a larger outbreak that lasted from February 28 to March 2. The tornado would inflict severe damage to the Enterprise High School, where it would kill 8 students. This tornado would be the deadliest tornado to strike a school since the Belvidere tornado in 1967. This would be the deadliest tornado in the outbreak as well.[1]
