Government Polytechnic Patna-7 is one of the oldest technical education institute in Bihar which is situated in Gulzarbagh, Patna. It is established by Government of Bihar under the Department of Science and Technology. It is affiliated to STATE BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION BIHAR and approved and recognised by AICTE. The institute is financially supported by the Government of Bihar. Although the institute started its first academic session[1] in 1954.
