According to the staff at VCI, the longest lasting Art teacher is Mr. Jean Clermont who is currently teaching his 28th year here. According to Clermont he is the teacher who beat every other Art teacher at VCI by miles, "The record is 5 years," Clermont said stating the fact that he and another teacher have been the high school's historians.

Facilities

Their gymnasium is often used for athletic events, both extracurricular and intramural. It is also used for our various special activities, such as school dances. Their cafeteria is the main social hangout in our school. Catered by Glen Fine Foods, students can always find something to eat or someone to talk to. The school's library serves a variety of purposes. Whether the students need to research articles using their vast collection of books or multiple internet-enabled computers, or if they're just looking for a quiet atmosphere to relax, the library can suit your needs. VCI is equipped with two regulation tennis courts. The residents from Vankleek Hill are always welcome in using the courts. Whether it's for exercise, or to strengthen their backswing the tennis courts are there for that reason.
