Python Paste, often simply called paste, is a set of utilities for web development in Python. Paste has been described as "a framework for web frameworks"[1]. Paste is a component used in the Pylon metaframework.
The paste utilities allow developers to install and integrate web applications easily, even when based on different frameworks and server environments (e.g. SCGI, FastCGI, or WSGI).
