Template:Short description

Template:Use dmy dates Template:Infobox racing car The Porsche 911 GT4 R is an upcoming grand touring racing car to be built by Porsche for use in SRO GT4 competition. It will serve as the replacement for the 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport that has been used since 2019. The GT4 R will be the first GT4 car from Porsche to be based upon the 911 model range.[1]

Development

The Porsche 911 GT4 R was announced in June 2026 and will be based upon the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992.2).[2] Changes from the Cup model include narrower wheels, production wheel mountings, smaller rear wing and more weight.[3][4] The price for the US market is $375,000, including import and delivery, while its €265,000 plus country-specific VAT elsewhere.[5][6]
