Open design

This resource is here to promote and create easily accessible and truly open designs, and to allow people to learn by doing along the way. Open design or "open source design" is the giving away of designs for products, goods, and other technologies.

Why

Why open design? Open designs, that can collaboratively be added to changed, and checked have multiple uses. They lower the entry cost to markets. They allow for shared knowledge. Imagine if you and everyone else had electronic copies your cars design prints, and electronic copy of every design of every part of your car.

For the most part, THERE ARE NO WRONG WAYS TO GET INVOLVED so please do what you think would further the goals of this project but more importantly the mission of Wikademia and Wikimedia as a whole, so long as you adhere to a few basic rules:

Act in good faith in your contributions
