Sreeram Chaulia is an Indian analyst of international affairs for Hong Kong-based Asia Times and New Delhi-based Indo-Asian News Service. He is the author of more than 177 articles and book reviews in multiple scholarly journals, daily newspapers and magazines, covering topics like diplomacy, national security, war and peace, political economy, human rights, terrorism, literature and arts. He is also Contributing Editor to People Who Influenced the World Over the Past 100 Years ([1]Murray Books, Adelaide, 2005). As a writer, he combines a strong factual core with unconventional insights into burning global issues.

Chaulia has two undergraduate degrees in History from St.Stephen's College (Delhi) and University College (Oxford). He has two masters degrees in International Relations from the London School of Economics and the Maxwell School of Citizenship (Syracuse). He is currently pursuing a PhD on the determinants of the behavior of international humanitarian organizations in war zones.

Chaulia has worked for international humanitarian and peace organizations in the USA, Switzerland, Sri Lanka and the Philippines and is the recipient of prestigious academic awards.

He is known to be an advocate for the rights of Kashmiri Hindus and is a Contributing Editor of the Kashmir News Network [2]
