Many Jatt, Ramgarhia, Lohar, Gujjar, Rajput and Kamboj surnames are found among Khatri people.Because, Khatris have close ethnic and genetic relation with these tribes. Khatris, Jats, Rajputs, Lohars, Kamboj people, Tarkhans and Gujjars, through generations had common ancestors.All the clans of these 7 tribes have Indo-Scythian origin and these tribes have same racial lineage.
