How to type umlauts into the computer

• For ü, hold down Ctrl, and press the numbers 1, 2, 9 on the keypad. Then release the Ctrl button.
• For ß, hold down Ctrl, and press the numbers 2, 2, 5 on the keypad. Then release the Ctrl button.
