Welcome to the course Introductory Ancient Greek Language.

This course will hopefully prepare the student to read genuine Ancient Greek texts regardless of previous experience. It will begin on a very basic level so if you have some experience you may choose to move on to a more advanced course. Or assist in lesson plans with this one.

If you're coming here with no experience then I hope you will find it enjoyable. Learning any language can be a daunting task, and Greek is no different. Especially with its alphabet which varies from the standard Latin one. Once, you have mastered this stumbling block (and I assure you it isn't a very large one) then you can be sure the hardest part is over.
