Ippon seoi nage
Danzan Ryu's Seoinage (背負投/背負い投げ?), known as Ippon Seoinage (一本 背負投?) in Judo, is one of the twenty throwing techniques in the Nagete list. It is also one of the nineteen newly accepted techniques, Shinmeisho No Waza, of Kodokan Judo. It is classified as a hand throwing technique, Te-waza.

In the video, The Essence of Judo, Ippon Seoinage is demonstrated as a second variation of Seoi Nage. A third variation is also demonstrated which can be thought of as a left sided Ippon Seoinage.
