Ryoeri Hazushi
Ryoeri Hazushi is a Yawara technique in Danzan Ryu Jujitsu.
Technique Description
Uke (attacker) grabs both Tori's (defender's) lapels. Tori clasps his hands together, one over Uke's wrists and one under Uke's wrists, and uses the combined forearms to lever Uke's hands off the lapels.
Technique history
Ryoeri Hazushi is generally one of the first on the list of Yawara due to its relationship to other escapes.[1]
Variations
Many variations exist, including strikes to Uke's face and throat, finger and thumb locks and take-downs.
