The Dinakrushna College, Jaleswar is the oldest & premier government aided institution of north-Balasore. It is established in 1964 for giving higher education in rural areas. It offers both intermediate(+2) & graduation(+3) courses. It is affiliated to Fakir Mohan University & Accredited by NAAC with 'B' Grade.[1][2][3]
History
The institution was established in 1964 commemorating to Odia poet Bhaktakavi Dinakrushna Das. Previously its graduation course was affiliated to Utkal University, but in the year of 2006 it is affiliated to Fakir Mohan University. It's +2 courses are affiliated to CHSE, Odisha.[4]
Courses Offered
It is giving +2 Science & Arts as Intermediate qualification. Also it offers degree courses like English, Economics, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Oriya, Physics, chemistry, Botany and Zoology. It is also a local study centre of IGNOU since 2006.
Admission Procedure
The admission process of both +2 & +3 is done through e-admission administrated by CHSE, Odisha
In that process students are have to fill application on-line with uploading of required documents, the web automated software for admission chooses the right college for the student/candidate with reference to the student's marks, reservation category etc.[5]
