Reminder: Wikiversity is not Wikipedia. Many editors come to Wikiversity from Wikipedia and do not understand Wikiversity. They rush to find a deletion template and slap it on Wikiversity pages that meet the Wikipedia criteria for page deletion. HOLD ON! Wikiversity welcomes contributions from participants, even when the participants do not seem to know what they are doing. Before you try to delete someone's contribution, try to talk to them and learn what they are trying to accomplish. Go to the talk page and discuss how to improve the page. Assume good faith: most pages are created in good faith and can be further developed as Wikiversity learning resources. At Wikiversity, page deletion is for purposes such as removing vandalism and copyright violations and pages that are causing disruption of the Wikiversity mission. Page deletion is not for removing the good faith efforts of editors who contribute to Wikiversity. Instructions: If you want to delete a page, the reason for page deletion must be given on the page you are trying to delete. You should explain your reasoning in detail on the talk page of the page you are trying to delete. You should try to contact other editors of the page you are trying to delete so they can participate in discussion of the proposed deletion of their work. You must provide a link from the page you want to delete to Wikiversity:Requests for Deletion. Notice of the proposed deletion must be made in this article's entry on the requests for deletion page where all Wikiversity participants are welcome to share their thoughts and express agreement or disagreement with the proposed page deletion. Feel free to edit or improve the page to address reasons given for deletion, but please do not blank the page or remove this tag until the deletion vote is closed unless the instructions for proposing page deletion have not been followed or unless the person proposing deletion has not made a good faith effort to discuss improvements of the page before proposing deletion.
