Project Jedi

The Jedi Project is an alleged project undertaken by the United States military in the early 2000's, to develop highly sensitive soldiers capable of medium-range empathy, improved vision and reflexes. Allegedly these enhancement enabled superior reflexes in combat situations, as well as target acquisition. Experimental DNA therapy is rumored to have occured. It is thought to have been conducted at Fort Bragg under the United States Army Special Operations Command. It is not specifically known when the program began and/or if it has ended.

The project was undertaken by the US Army in 1983. By using NLP as coaching technique, they tried to make soldiers into better shooters. Sally Squires wrote an article about the subject in The Washington Post in 1988.
