Project Jedi
The Jedi Project is an alleged research project undertaken by the United States military in the early 2000's, to develop highly sensitive soldiers capable of medium-range empathic abilities, improved vision and extreme reflexes. Allegedly these enhancements enabled superior responsiveness in combat situations, as well as target acquisition and take-down time. Experimental DNA therapy is rumored to have occurred. Also rumored to have been attempted was the use of Qigong to develop small but effective blocking and self-healing techniques. It is thought to have been conducted at Fort Bragg under the United States Army Special Operations Command. It is not specifically known when the program began and/or if it has ended. This Project was rumored to be a feeder for Task Force 626,121, DEVGRU and Special Activities Staff (SAS).
In his 2004 book The Men Who Stare at Goats, Jon Ronson claimed that it was a mid-1980s project.[1]
