St Andrews University Fly Fishing Club

The St Andrews University Fly Fishing Club was founded in 2005 by then second year student William Culbert.

Culbert, then finishing his first year at University wanted to convey his personal passion for both fly fishing and escapism. Figuring Scotland was the perfect place for both these things Culbert, with the help of his friend and future flatmate Aidan Coates formed the St Andrews University Fly Fishing Club.

The club is the only University Club in Europe and one of few in the world. It has also recieved commendation from Jeremy Paxman, David Cameron and Iain Duncan Smith.

The current president is Ian Cunningham.
